Delete your account
You only have an account if you signed in for Bands or cloud setlists. You can delete it in the app.
- Open the Metronome menu, the ⋯ button at the top right of the main screen.
- Choose Account and bands.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm it’s you with your password, or with Sign in with Apple.
- Tap Delete Account, then confirm. Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone.
What gets deleted
- Your NomeNome account and sign-in.
- Setlists and settings stored in the cloud for this account.
- Bands you own are deleted for every member, including their shared sessions.
- You’re removed from bands other people own.
What stays
- NomeNome Pro. It belongs to your Apple ID, not your NomeNome account, so you can use Restore Purchase any time.
- Songs and setlists you made while signed out stay on each device. Delete them in the app, or delete the app to remove them.
If your sign-in method can’t be confirmed in the app, contact Codésence to delete your account. The privacy policy explains exactly what deletion removes.
Known limitations
Tempo estimates can be wrong
Song lookup estimates a tempo from the song’s short preview clip. Estimates can be off, sometimes by half or double the real tempo. Check the tempo by ear and adjust it before you rely on it.
Apple Watch haptic timing needs calibrating
A watch takes a moment to deliver each haptic. Calibration measures that delay so the tap lands on time with the metronome. It takes about 30 seconds: tap the watch when you see a flash, then again when you feel a buzz.
If the measured delay is unusually high, or too few taps were recorded, try again somewhere quiet where you can react clearly to the flash and buzz. If your watch can’t be reached, open NomeNome on your watch and try again.
Band timing depends on your setup
How closely band members line up depends on your devices, audio output and network. Try your setup together before a performance.
Questions
Can I download NomeNome yet?
Not yet. NomeNome is coming soon to the App Store.
Do I need an account?
No. The metronome, your songs and your setlists work without an account and are stored on your device. An account is only needed for Bands and cloud setlists.
Does NomeNome work offline?
The metronome, setlists, practice tools and the Apple Watch connection work offline. Accounts, Bands, cloud setlists, song lookup and purchases need an internet connection.
What is NomeNome Pro?
An in-app purchase through the App Store. It unlocks song lookup with estimated tempo, Apple Watch sync and wrist haptics, cloud setlists, the tempo trainer and practice timer, 5 and 6 clicks per beat, and phone vibration and screen flash. The price is shown in the App Store before you buy.
Pro belongs to your Apple ID, not your NomeNome account. If you already bought it, use Restore Purchase on the Account screen.
I’m testing the TestFlight beta. Do I have Pro?
Pro features are included in TestFlight beta builds for testing. Beta access applies to beta builds only and isn’t a purchase.
What happens to my data?
Most of what you do stays on your device. The privacy policy explains what leaves it, where it goes and why.
